Voted 10/10 | I remember seeing that in the book, "Fifty
Classic Climbs in North America."
Is that the "standard" route, leading up to
that col ???

Hasn't voted | Hozomeen is deffinitely one of the bigger monsters in the cascades. As far as the standard route goes, I'm not sure because Hozo hasn't made it onto my to do list yet. Do you still have the book? | | Posted Jun 16, 2010 2:30 pm |

Voted 10/10 | No. I remember checking out the book at
the public library, when I was living in WA
back in the 1980s.
Of course, Liberty Ridge was also in the
book, along with several peaks in western Canada. | | Posted Jun 17, 2010 6:58 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Hozomeen is not in 50 Classic Climbs. You may be thinking of Mount Slesse, just a few miles west and across the border in B.C. Hozomeen is steep and dramatic enough, but the rock isn't generally good enough to qualify for that book. | | Posted Aug 8, 2010 12:07 am |
