Humboldt Peak rises | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Humboldt Peak rises dinosaur-like out of the clouds on this incredible morning. All of the Wet Mountain Valley was filled with clouds, while the San Luis Valley was devoid of them. Colony Baldy is the other summit peeking up left of Humboldt. Photo taken from Crestone Needle's summit at 8:15 a.m. on August 27, 2002. Hasn't voted | It was magic! I'll have to dig up some other shots that actually display the dichotomy of that morning. They're not in digital format, though, so it'll be a while. | | Posted Nov 6, 2003 9:28 am |
