Might be interesting to mention that the lake was created by a natural landslide in 1837. The trunks of pine trees of the former forest can still be seen in the lake. The Hungarian name (translated as "Killer Lake") reflects the drama in this event. And of course, there is a legend, with a beautiful girl kidnapped by an eval thief, to explain why and how this has happened ;)
