| Wonderful bluebird day for a mountain hike. Huron probably has the best summit view that I have ever experienced! I think that I was able to see all the way to the San Juans! | |

| Spent a stunning morning climbing Huron with Matt Payne from 100summits.com. Took in views of the 3 apostles, then traversed to Browns Peak. | I attempted Huron with my hiking partners Sandy, Bill and David. This was my second time on this peak. It was very windy up above the basin, and the summit was socked in for most of the day. The pace was very slow. A winter storm was going to roll in later in the day. We were about 400-500 feet below the summit when the clock struck 12:30 and we decided to turn back. This was the first time I had to turn back on a 14er. | |

| After killing myself this summer training for the Imogene Pass Run, enjoyed this one as a fun hike/run. 93 minutes up, 48 minutes down. The trail's in wonderful shape. Whoever put the steps in at around 12,300' is a master. Beautiful October morning. | |

| Hiked from Winfield to the summit in 3hrs, first one up there that day with perfect weather, spent a whole hour there basking in the splendid views all around. This was my second peak of 6 in 5 days. Had done Massive the day before. | |

| Good conditions and stayed ahead of the normal Saturday 14er march. Fun little scramble over to Browns that you can make as easy or hard as you choose. | |
