maybe weather is not good on some sundays ...
maybe you're no more so young to go and climb ...
maybe you are a little lazy and don't want to make efforts
maybe you don't want to stay at home ...
so you decide to go and see something new without having a long drive.

Some years ago, in a cold fall day, I went to climb the Cresta di Piancaformia to Grignone and, while climbing on its easy rocks, I remember I've seen, on the right side (west), a green woody valley ending in the Como lake.
...
I heard about a fine old fashion refuge almost never crowded posted in a fine site called Releccio ...
and these are the pics illustrating it

The Rifugio Bietti (1719m) is a good starting point for 3 easy alpinistic routes and a ferrata to the main summit of the group, the Grigna settentrionale (Grignone - 2410m)
  • via del Caminetto - 1.30 hours
  • via del Canalone - 2.30 hours
  • via del Guzzi - 2.30 hours
  • ferrata CAI Mandello - 3 hours

Here you find the wooden marks of the paths 25 and 24
Following the path 24 you will see these sceneries ... and get the place in less then 1h 30'

    Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
