 Signage |
Due to road closures, the best way to approach LJCG is to park at Islip Saddle, and hike the 2.1 miles in to the campground.
The first view of the camp |
This campground has stone stoves, benches, and other basic facilities. It would be wise to pack water in, as I believe that there is no running water here, aside from Little Jimmy spring to the east, Windy Spring just off to the west, and Cortelyou Spring .5 miles east of Islip Saddle, next to SR2.
 Seating and Eating |
