Brief History

The chalet was built in 1943 by native from Levoca, the well-known Tatras' mountaineer and the renter of Teryho chalet, Stefan Zamkovsky (1908 - 1961). After nationalization in 1951 it was renamed to Captain Nalepka's chalet, but in 1993 it was returned to the former owners and it has had its original name since.
