Brief HistoryThe chalet was built in 1942 at the same time as the ski-lift Solisko. It's situated near the upper station of the chair-lift FIS Solisko. During winter season the chalet offers refreshment for skiers on the track from Solisko to Strbske pleso. During summer season it's the rest spot on the tourist paths Strbske Pleso - Solisko (blue mark) - Furkotska valley - Bystre sedlo pass (2,314 m.a.s.l.) - Mlynicka valley (yellow mark) or it's the starting point for the trip to Predne Solisko (2,093 m.a.s.l./red mark). From the historical point of view the chalet Pod Soliskom is the youngest one in the High Tatras.
