Overview

As all huts in the range, Ceska Koca na Spodnjih Ravneh (the Czech hut on Spodnje Ravni) is open and run in the summer, mainly between mid June and the third week of September. The opening and especially the closing date may vary, depending on general weather conditions.
In June and as of mid september it is good to ask about the situation at the trailhead or by phone. Since the hut is maintained and run by the Slovene Alpine Association (PZS), check the external link for phone numbers.
In any case we may definitely depend on the hut being open in the last week of June, in July, August and in the first week of September.
Reserving is trendy, but I haven't heard of anyone unwillingly having to sleep outdoors.
Being member of an Alpine Association gives % on overnighting costs.
As in all mountain huts (except for the trailhead huts) there is a winter room.

There are 30 beds in dormitories and 40 beds in rooms.
Ceska is on the Spodnje Ravni upper terrace, just below Grintovec N face, SE of the Jezersko trailhead.

Closest summits, along marked and secured mountain-hiking paths (routes): Grintovec Kocna

Close walls: Kocna, Dolska Skrbina, Grintovec.
