I cannot fathom why this...

I cannot fathom why this mountain is named Matterhorn. It looks nothing like it. Matterhorn South Slopes and summit pyramid from Matterhorn Creek Basin. Colorado's Wetterhorn is further up the basin and to the left. Wetterhorn and Matterhorn are sometimes climbed together. 25 Sep 2003
