April 16th, 2005 - The area of Cedar Ridge where my 1,000 ft fall occured. Most of the fracture line is intact. It seems like the weak point in the cornice was its interface with that cliff, which explains why the crack started behind Joe. I'm really lucky I didn't break off a cornice higher up!
