A moment of rest on the shoulder of Mont de la Saxe, just in front of Mont Chetif 2343m [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
A moment of rest on the shoulder of Mont de la Saxe, just in front of Mont Chetif 2343m
A moment of rest on the shoulder of Mont de la Saxe, just in front of Mont Chetif 2343m (on the left), dominated by Berrio Blanc 3252m. By the 210mm zoom lens one can see, at the head of the snowy val Veny, Col de la Seigne 2514m and Les Pyramides Calcaires 2726 / 2689m.
Behind the children one can see the two morainic snouts of Miage glacier, delimiting the "Miage garden".

Thanks for your appreciation. But I think that a photo for the family album isn't made some tens meters away by a 210 mm zoom lens: the children have only a scenographic function, the real subject is the background.

L'avevo persa questa. Molto suggestiva.

E' una delle foto a cui sono più affezionato, in effetti!
A parte i figli, in primo piano per via dello zoom(ma in realtà abbastanza distanti), mi sembra rimarchevole la val Veny sullo sfondo, ancora innevata ai primi di luglio.
Thanks Paolo!
