View of the Diagonal Chute Variation of the Standard West Face route from Logan Pass. Traverse the obvious band of cliffs, using a use trail if you can find it, around a blind corner, then follow cairns up "nasty gully", which is the "diagonal chute" in Edwards's guidebook. The toughest climbing of the route is encountered just after exiting the gully. From there, the scramble to the summit is straightforward. Can't read the captions? Check this out.
