with these great photos! I'd rather be there right now, but I'm stuck at work.

Yeah, well David, these young Canadians are killing me...one of these indestructible 20 something year olds took me out to Grassi Lakes today and threw me on 5.12's even though I have always fully disclosed I can't do 5.12's (or 5.11's for that matter). Took two huge whippers on lead and came home to my unsympathetic wife who wonders why I do this stuff to begin with. I am much safer here loading this stuff up on SP.

Cheers and Thanks!

Don't expect wives to understand. When mine asks why I do this I say "Because I must" Cheers CW

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
