LOCATION: Milepost 128 along US-285, slightly north of Poncha Springs;
CAMERA: Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom, 3.2 megapixel, 10x optical, 3x digital;
DESCRIPTION: An early-afternoon view of Mt. Shavano and neighboring Jones Peak (13,604' - flat summit on the right 1/3). You can see that "The Angel" is in full force, while the nasty Grinch is taking a nap. There wasn't quite enough snowmelt for the Grinch's face to be fully seen at the time that I shot this photo.

Here is a much closer view of the Angel and the Grinch, taken from the same spot.
