The saddle to the left of Tuckaway Mountain full of aspen is the head of the upper Bear Creek Valley. Behind Tuckaway Mountain on the left is Lake Moraine, the only natural lake on Pikes Peak. Access to Lake Moraine is blocked by a City Utilities gate just beyond the saddle left of Tuckaway Mountain.
