May 26th, 2005 - Layback...
May 26th, 2005 - Layback Crack (5.5.) seen from the entrance to the Storm Mountain Picnic Ground. This is a nice 2.5 pitch trad route that offers some fun laybacking on the lower crack. The left face of the dihedral has a crack climb called Le Creme De Shorts (5.9) , which can be top-roped from the first pitch of Layback Crack. The High Water Approach is for Nice Little Crack, and Storm Mountain Stupor, which are right next door.

I figured the routes could go for a festive look - see if you can spot the image of the virgin Mary in the rock :-)

Nice job. Maybe you can teach me how to do this.

No problemo - I did the annotations in Adobe Photoshop, but you can do the same thing in any image editor. What sort of software do you have? E-mail me if you want.
