Please ignore the "hero-shot factor".
Summit of Pissis East II. The views are excellent and in the horizon you can see (left to right): the western end of the Tres Cruces peaks (pointed summit), the big white mass is Ojos del Salado and Cazadero, next is Nacimiento and the lonely peak to the right is Incahuasi. The light blue lake is Laguna Verde (Argentinian).
Summit cairn built just before the photo was taken. Nothing on this summit when we arrived. Second ascent ever, first from the south.

Hasn't voted | It seems that hero shots would only be inappropriate if there were a bunch of them on the page (such as on popular mountains). Since the mountain has only been climbed twice, every photo added will be a "new perspective", unless that one other person that has climbed it is an SP member and will add lots of photos!!! | | Posted Sep 6, 2005 5:56 pm |
