This from on the snowfield crossing from the Emerals Lake Basin into the upper Timpanogos Basin. I traversed the steep snowfield, and the picture gives a feel for the cliffs below. After about 50 yards the cliffs give way to steep snow so it is less dicey. I believe that is Roberts Horn in the background. July 2, 2005.
