Erick Johnson signs the summit register and enjoys a well-deserved rest after completing the climb in just over six and a half hours from the trailhead. Even after severely spraining his ankle on the hideously difficult descent trail, Erick managed to make it back to the car before a headlamp was needed--an astonishing effort!
