A beautiful but small meadow makes a great base camp below Storm King. This meadow is located about 200 ft. below Lake Silex. Do not attempt to camp by Lake Silex as it is nothing more than a boulder and scree field. August 7, 2005. Copyright attm.

	Hasn't voted	We were told there were too many rocks around the lake to camp. Were they wrong! This was a great location for a camp. Perfectly flat with nice soft tundra.
