Gasherbrum IV seen from the base camp of Gasherbrums I, II and III. This base camp is located on a wide snow field and all around you there are huge peaks of 7000-8068m. Russian climber Skripko packing up his gear.

Yes, you're right. This is "Vlada" Skripko from Moskva. I don't know if he has posted anything on Risk.ru. He didn't attempt G IV, but G II. He reached Camp 2 due to bad weather and was forced to turn back. Do you want his contact info?

J, this is the south face, with the east face kind of visible on the right, in sunlight and cloud. The south face, esp the ridge on the left, has been attempted several times, no success.
