SW Ridge route (4): Trail as it goes up the first ridge above basin. The trail makes a sharp right turn (at point about 2/5 up on left side of photo) and climbs steeply to a distinctive "notch" (appears as dark vertical gap at top of ridge about 1/4 from right side of photo). Even in dry weather, this is slippery footing because of marble-sized scree.
