After trying and failing 5 times to summit Mt. Rainier, I've really come to hate that ugly volcanic pile. But thanks to your photos I now dearly miss it, and feel the urge to try again. Thanks for healing the scarred relationship, I guess it really can be a beautiful mountain.

Reflection lake is on the south side of the mountain. If you're driving to Paradise from the Nisqually entrance, the road splits off towards Steven's Canyon; take that road and you'll drive right by the lake.

What a sweet pic. You could take your pics and make a nice calendar offering (put me down for one if you ever do). Nice reflection along with the mist that gives it a touch of surrealism. 4 stars although some of your pics deserve 5.
