Looking down from the upper half of pitch 2 of West Face route. Shirley is belaying me from a nice ledge. I'm aiding at this point already (October 14, 2005).

At this point I was already standing in an aider so it's pretty comfy for photo taking :)
These are actually rated as double ropes but most of the time we climb on them as twins. Switch to double technique on hairy traverses (to protect second in some cases) or off-route adventures that invovle lowering off :) | | Posted Oct 20, 2005 11:34 am |
