Ridiculous! Why are your photos always so good? Such beautiful country, no clear-cuts in sight. I'm always jealous, your photos always make me want to go there. Excellent photograph Dow.

Looks like some of the Euros must have been jealous and downvoted this pic so it wouldn't remain in the photos section. Glad it made POTD.

Unreal...I must go...I must. If you had to choose, would it be here, or Glacier National???? Also, did you use a digital for that shot? I just got a Canon Digital Rebel with a 70-200mm 4 L series lense. Will I be able to take that quality???

Thanks!

I lugged a 35 mm up on this climb Ken, but the Canadian Rockies makes everyone's work look good. So I am sure you will be pleased with your shots on a digital. I love Glacier National, but normally to crowded for me. Mountain of the Sun road can be a full on jam in the summer. Campgrounds are packed. The four national parks, Banff, Yoho, Kootney and Jasper along with all the provincial parks, particularly Kananaskis make for much larger and more wild country. But if you end up in Glacier National, make sure you spend quality time in Waterton NP. Tons of scrambles for the summer and solid ice climbing in the winter. Of course there is Glacier National Park in Canada which is over by the bugaboos....that is most locals favorite alpine climbing around here. Perhaps that was what you were referencing. Can't go wrong with any of it. Thanks for the compliments on the photo Ken. Cheers!
