The Lighthouse is a 150 foot...
The Lighthouse is a 150 foot tower that juts out from the canyon. A three mile hike (one-way) leads to the base of the lighthouse.

That is an awesome formation- compressed dirt you say? reminds me of eastern montana.

Thanks, It is indeed compressed dirt making climbing nearly impossible. Where in eastern Montana is there stuff like this?

Makoshika state park near glendive is similar, along with quite a few sites along the missouri and yellowstone rivers, pompeys pillar near hardin. Nothing quite like what ive seen from your pics though. Everythings bigger in TX I guess.
