.... your summitlog. You are right about wanting to camp as high as possible. Don't know if you saw but there are some stone circles/shelters just a bit below the col where it flattens out and you traverse left up onto the ridge. On two attempts, I always got tired and camped a bit below on a small rock ridge though. :- ) Good luck next year!

I believe it would be tiring to pack up the overnight gear to that spot. I am still going to push for higher camp next year. I apreciate the feedback. I enjoy your posts! keep up the good work.
