Only four times in total was the info we got when in the area.

We also tried it last December but failed. As a "success" we walked over the 5900m high pass on the very right of the photo. It could be that we were the first. Although Pissis is still on the list.

You may have been in contact with Jonson Reynoso in Fiambalá?

If not, he can probably tell you if you were there first. He's the real expert of the area.

I can put you in contact with him if you like.

We ("Nadios" and I) walked from Laguna Brava to the right side of the Caldera last season. A wonderful place!
