The view north from the...
The view north from the summit of Owens Peak. The triangular peak right of center is Olancha Peak. Just left of center is the rounded mass of Mount Langley, and just left of that lie the dark ramparts of Mount Whitney. Despite the gloom, this peak offered a remarkable view of the southern Sierra. January 1, 2006.
