I'm starting to think that...
I'm starting to think that our climb of Goode's Northeast Buttress began with a harder start than normally required. We couldn't begin right at the toe due to a large moat, but we did find some blocks of connecting ice on the left side of the buttress. Chris Koziarz and I climbed two 5th class pitches to reach the long section of easier terrain Klenke referred to.

Chris's yellow helmet can barely be seen. I'm taking a picture because I've escaped to relatively easy heathered terrain.

Another Cascades usual, climbing your way through the heather and hope they are dry, fun :)

I can't keep up with the good stuff you are putting up every day but is much enjoyed and appreciated.
