Camping Beta: Confluencia Base Camp (10,000'), the first stop along the Normal Route on Aconcagua. You can camp anywhere. People generally camp near the tents of the mule service that they use, as they will provide hot water for you. There is a clean water source and public outhouses in camp. Photo taken December 2005.
