Lake Tahoe from Herlan Peak
Colorful lichen and flowers on Herlan Peak above Lake Tahoe. The peaks in the center, 25 miles across the lake are in California's Desolation Wilderness. They include (r-l) Mt Tallac, Pyramid Peak, Mt. Price, Jack's Peak, and Dick's Peak.

Thanks Jason, for some reason this morning's pink/blue band was about the most vivid I've ever seen. I found the lichen and flower scene the previous evening and thought it would make a good sunrise photo.
