| Castle Peak | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Photo of me standing at the edge of a small pond near Windy Saddle Pass with Castle Peak's North face behind me. The Big Gully Route can be seen on the left-hand side of the peak. I'd wanted to take a photo from here ever since I saw this Mark Lisk photo a few years ago.

Voted 9/10 | That photo would be a truly great one during early morning light or late evening light. Great vista location. | | Posted Feb 23, 2006 5:09 am |

Hasn't voted | Agreed. We were there just before noon with the sun directly overhead, so not ideal lighting. It was an excellent spot to break for lunch though. | | Posted Feb 24, 2006 12:07 am |

Voted 10/10 | I really like this picture. Although Castle Peak (and yourself) was the focus point obviously, I really like the view of Serrate Ridge in this shot. The angle at which it was taken really seems to stretch it out. Very nice! | | Posted Mar 11, 2006 8:02 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks. Was the view of Serrate Ridge from Lonesome Lake Peak a good one, or did Pk 10857’ kill the perspective? | | Posted Mar 11, 2006 10:12 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Both Castle Peak and Serrate Ridge could bee seen from the summit of LLP, but I wouldn't say it's the best view of the two. Check it out here. | | Posted Mar 11, 2006 11:40 pm |
