Hasn't voted | Hi Lolli, thanks for having a look at the photo. This is one of our favorite places to relax.
The yellow flower is Mountain Golden pea, also called Golden Banner, either Thermopsis montana, or Thermopsis divaricarpa.
The purple ones are Wild Mountain Iris, Iris missouriensis. My wife and I have been back to this place numerous times at the same time of year since this photo was taken 10 years ago, but we have never seen this many iris again. | | Posted Feb 28, 2006 1:52 pm |
