Upper Muley Twist Canyon [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Upper Muley Twist Canyon
This fascinating Double Arch, denoted as such on the area topo, is actually perched above a huge cliff and appears unreachable. This is one of three arches we missed on the outset of our hike of Upper Muley Twist Canyon. Capitol Reef National Park, Fall, 2005.

Cool photo.

Next time you visit Capitol Reef, email me and I'll be happy to direct you to some more "hidden surprises" in the area.

I'll keep it in mind, Scott. I'm sure we'll go back eventually because we love it there. We'll be doing trips elsewhere prior though, including Zion, the Wave and Red Rock Canyon near Vegas. We need to see Rattlesnake Canyon and Colo Nat Mon as well. But eventually, it's back to the Reef!
