Mixup from Magic [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mixup from Magic
From the summit of Magic Mountain, Mixup is dwarfed by Johannesberg Mountain. Sliding snow keeps Mixup's E face polished to a light gray. It looks near-vertical from here, but most parties carry the rope coiled until about 50 feet (15m) short of the summit. Though the face's ledges make the climbing surprisingly easy, the exposure is almost as great as it appears here. Don't let your attention wander.
