Having rappelled a short half-ropelength from the summit ridge, we absorb the view from Mixup's upper E face. Much of the beginning of the Ptarmigan Traverse is visible here. Behind Mike's helmet, the Cache Glacier leads to Cache Col. Halfway between Mike's and Howard's helmets a snowpatch marks Kool-Aid Lake. Magic Mountain is just off the photo's left edge. Hurry-up Peak (S Mountain) is directly above the Kool-Aid Lake snowpatch. To Hurry-up's right is tiny Art's Knoll. The rock rib leading down from that is the site of the infamous Red Ledge, almost directly above Howard's orange helmet. Beyond are Spider Mountain, the Middle Cascade Glacier, and part of Mount Formidable.
