WETTERHORN PEAK ROUTE OPTIONS
PLEASE NOTE: The CFI has developed a standard route to access the southeast ridge of Wetterhorn. Please use it to protect the fragile highlands in the basin beneath the mountain. Thanks!
RED: Standard route, cairned or trail. Variations on the SE ridge, including routes on the east side (Class 4)
GREEN: Matterhorn ascent route
PURPLE: Matterhorn descent and ascent of Wetterhorn over rock glacier
YELLOW: Iron swamp access (AVOID!)
BLUE: Optional descent or steep & loose ascent of SW slopes

	Hasn't voted	I've climbed this nmountain 8 times. I might be doing it a 9th time with my daughter this year. So I've been to it a bunch. I know it very well. I'm glad my knowledge is paying off for others. Wetterhorn will be a favorite for you. Good luck when you do it!
