Thanks everyone! No unfortunately I was on the tourist trail to Everest Base Camp, not an expedition to Ama Dablam. I think I took this outside of Thugla, one of the last camps before EBC. Visibility was bad all day, but around sunset it seemed to be clearing slightly so I froze my tail off strolling around the hut, waiting, hoping, as the overcast sky grew slowly dim. As I was about to give up, just the top bit of Ama Dablam that you see here came into view for perhaps 5 minutes, then disappeared. Just enough time for a couple photos and then the light was gone, my fingers were frozen, and it was time to head into the hut for a pizza and a beer.
