Idaho Batholith [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Idaho Batholith
The Middle Fork in Impassable Canyon cuts through a spectacular section of the Idaho Batholith, forming outstanding granite walls and domes. I have never heard of any technical routes being climbed here, as the area is extremely inacessible. Some of the side canyons in this area might have potential for technical canyoneering descents. June 2001.

"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."   --M. Cartmill
