The Smith Rock Group as seen from the west. Sky Ridge arete is barely visible here on the left edge of the formation (north side); Wherever I May Roam would be somewhere on a face near the left (north) end of the formation. The Smith summit plateau is the dirt ridge up at the top. To reach the plateau, hike up (class 2) the center gully in the photo (April 2003).
