Voted 10/10 | Thanks, I forgot to add that I was born
in Tacoma, and attended Forestry classes
at Green River CC. My first Forestry job
was at Lake Wenatchee in 1986. How did I
end up in central Arizona??? Your guess is
as good as mine! Take care.

Voted 10/10 | were Walt Scobie and Pat Cummins. They
handled the entire program, including
tree-planting Silviculture and field trips
to eastern Washington and the Olympic
Peninsula. One time we even went up to
the North Cascades! Everybody connected
with those people thought the world of
them. We even got to do some tree-thinning
with chainsaws. On my days off, the
Cascades were my beautiful playground.
I also attended a mountain biology class
with Denny White, who has long since retired.
Everybody was so friendly there!!!
(I even did the long hike up to Camp Muir
with one of the instructors, I think her name
was Jane Adams. I only remembered because we saw
Mount Adams from that vantage point!) I
was also a member of the Tacoma Mountaineers

alive and continuing there. I know it
has changed significantly in 25 years.
It's still great to get out in the field
and smell the trees, and possibly have
a Douglas squirrel drop a cone on your head.
