Hasn't voted | I see these little fellows from time to time in the Park. I've picked them up, so apparently there's nothing toxic about them, at all. Hard to say why they ended up so brightly colored.

Voted 10/10 | From my viewpoint, a creature that eats worms is always a friend of mine. Yes, it's true that bright colours can be warning signs. I need to venture out into the desert, and (somehow) get a photo of a Gila Monster. They are really poisonous, but awesome!!! Cheers! | | Posted Jan 1, 2008 12:26 pm |

Hasn't voted | The morning was cool and that newt was extremely sluggish. I think he'd probably latched onto that worm the evening before and was waiting for the sun to warm the forest.

Voted 10/10 | I don't blame the newt one bit! When I eat a meal, I prefer a warm place like a pickup truck or someplace with a heater cranked up! | | Posted Jan 1, 2008 1:36 pm |

Voted 10/10 | That's awesome! How did you find the little guy? The coloring helps them hide in the leaves and scare off predators. | | Posted Oct 3, 2008 1:21 pm |

Hasn't voted | He was easy to see, as he'd nailed that earthworm in the middle of the trail.
