Steep [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Steep
The steep ascent to Paso Ancho. The Colorado river valley seen about a 1000 meters below. The yellow river delta is fed by Mercedario's glaciers. BC is down there, but too small to be visible.

You could pass this as a false-color satellite image and I'd fall for it.

The whole area has a strong and sometimes odd color setting. Bright yellow and strong red are common.

The yeti of the Canadian wilderness; is that the sasquatch or is it the wendigo? Or bigfoot?

My first impression was really funny, I was reading about 30000 climber in a year on Mont Blanc. Review saids: lots of urine convert the glaciers into yellow colors. So I am smaling a lot hehehe... Really amazing this picture. Great job!!
