High Peaks from Blue Mt. [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
High Peaks from Blue Mt.
From the firetower on Blue Mt; Tirrell Pond is at bottom right, and the low mountain with the rockslides just across the pond is Tirrell Mt. 35-45 miles away, on the horizon, especially to the right side, is the High Peaks region of 4,000'-5,300' peaks. Just right of center is the Santanoni Range. Then, going to the right, is Algonquin Peak, the smaller Mt. Colden, and then Mt. Marcy, Skylight, and Haystack right next to each other. To the left of the Santanoni Range (just left of center on the horizon) the summit of Whiteface is visible, more than 50 miles away.
