Spencer Smith [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]

This is for the "In memory of..." album. Spencer Smith was one of the leading influences that got me into climbing. His love for the outdoors was evident in all that he did. He was smart and safe, and was able to avoid injury in the mountians.

Unfortunately tragedy struck on November 29, 2004 when he was involved in an automobile accident on his way to work. He has been missed by all those who came in contact with him, for he left an impression everywhere he went.

This photo was taken at the anchors of Owl Rock in Arches National Park by Stephanie Larsen.

Yeah, you're very right. I wasn't there however, so I was perfectly safe.
