Thin-leaved Owl-clover (Orthocarpus tenuifolius)
Orthocarpus is a genus very similar to Castilleja, in fact many experts group them together. This species is found in canyon grasslands and open dry forests east of the Cascade Mountains in much of the inland northwest U.S. Photo taken at Fields Springs State Park near Anatone, WA. June 1995.
