Bowan's South Face

Bowan's South Face

Bowan Mountain (7,895 ft) has potential long rock routes on its South Face. Only Class 4 or is there enough steepness to make it interesting? Pick the rib that looks the most fun. The face is 1,800 feet high so there could be a whole lot of pitched-out goodness. The regular (easy) route uses the SE Ridge and features maybe one exposed move. July 29, 2006.
