Watch Tower
The Watch Tower, site of my big whipper (140') (look for it in your next Climbing Magazine edition). This is a clearer photo taken on a ski trip back to Lake O'Hara this past winter.

klwagarCongratulations

Voted 10/10

on being able to handle that kind of fall and post about it. That was a significant fall and you are one lucky guy to survive. Glad you wrote the peice up - it didn't get the attention it deserved.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
